Rhonda brings to her private practice her training and experience as an individual, couples, family, and pastoral Canadian Certified Counsellor, and a Certified Ontario College of Teachers Elementary School, Secondary School, and Special Education Teacher. She counsels individuals from the age of 13 and up for a variety of issues which are preventing her clients from enjoying the quality of life they so much desire.Rhonda has co-facilitated a group for co-dependents of addicts with Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services of Ottawa, she is a Certified Grief Recovery Facilitator with the The Grief Recovery Institute, and she is a Certified Counsellor in Object Relations Therapy and Self Psychology. She has completed a certificate in the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training with The Canadian Mental Health Association. Rhonda’s training involved counselling seniors in the Geriatric Unit and psychiatric patients in the Acute Care Unit of The Royal Ottawa Hospital. She was also trained at Saint Paul University, Ottawa, to counsel individuals and couples with mood and personality disorders, bereavement, trauma and adoption issues, relational, separation and divorce issues, spiritual and religious quandaries, and addictions.
