At CotnamFields Counselling Services I adhere to the strict ethical code of The Canadian Psychological Association regarding your privacy. During the first session, I will review with you issues of confidentiality and limits to confidentiality as outlined on my Consent Form. I will inform you what information I collect about you and why, and I will securely use and store all your personal information. With a written request, the client may have access to his/her file. After ten years, the legally required storage time, your information will be properly shredded and disposed of.
