At Cotnam, Fields & Associates Counselling Services we adhere to the strict ethical code of The Canadian Psychological Association regarding your privacy. During the first session, we will review with you issues of confidentiality and limits to confidentiality as outlined on our Consent Form. We will inform you what information we collect about you and why, and we will securely use and store all your personal information. With a written request, the client may have access to his/her file. After ten years, the legally required storage time, your information will be properly shredded and disposed of.
