I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor with a Master’s degree. I counsel individuals, age 13 and up, couples, families, and groups. I bring a multitude of life experience to my clients. I attend consultation and continuing education workshops to keep my skills current and vibrant.

Following the ethical code of The Canadian Psychological Association, my counselling is confidential and professional. For more information on my privacy policy, visit my privacy policy page and www.privcom.gc.ca.

For what reasons might you seek counselling? There are a wide range of reasons, such as:
  • your quality of life has deteriorated
  • you are troubled by something that prevents you from functioning well at work, school, or home
  • you are isolated or having relational difficulties
  • you are feeling chronically sad, angry, fearful, or worried
  • your adolescent children are driving you “crazy”
  • you are bullied and alienated at school
  • your parents are driving you “crazy” with too many rules and too little trust in you
  • your partner is threatening to leave you
  • you cannot communicate with your partner without fighting or distancing
  • illness of a family member is causing pain for everyone
  • you have unresolved grief for a loved one or a less-than-loved one
  • you cannot express your anger appropriately
  • substance abuse is affecting your happiness and your personal growth and that of your family
  • you have problems sexually, perhaps due to childhood trauma.

These are just some of the issues which I, at CotnamFields Counselling Services, can help you to explore and hopefully to resolve.
